I started my journey with KMH in 2016 as Karinna's (my mom) assistant while I was still in beauty school. After six months of training with her and gaining experience at two other salons, I joined the KMH team as a stylist. Over the first six years, KMH taught me so much about not only being a stylist, but also how to run my own business. I’m now proud to be a booth renter and business owner under the KMH Salon & Co. umbrella while still enjoying the supportive, team-oriented atmosphere that makes the salon so special.

"Starting the Jr. Stylist Program after being licensed for 1 year helped prepare for the next step in my career. Having an amazing boss who encouraged me to grow and taught me advanced techniques gave me the opportunity to learn and develop my skills faster. She’s not only an incredible mentor behind the chair, but she also teaches you how to be a business woman and take ownership behind the chair. She helped me understand that being a hairstylist is about so much more than just doing hair—it’s about building confidence, learning how to run your business, creating relationships with your clients, and growing into the professional you want to become.

KMH Salon & Co.'s Jr. Stylist Program is what I would call trailblazing to say the least. It helped me to grow my skills set faster than I had ever imagined. The fact is that when I started KMH Salon & Co.'s program I was already doing hair for 12 years. I came in as a booth enter and I saw the value in the program, so I decided to join the team as a commission stylist. I have learned and grown so much, it speaks volumes. My sales are the highest they've ever been and I couldn't be more proud of myself.
Karinna's passion for teaching and growing hairstylist is obvious. This program she has created is undeniable and I would recommend joining this program to anyone. Karinna pushes yo to be your best and every employee is a reflection of that.
